Born in Haverfordwest and brought up in the West Midlands I spent 35 years in the bus industry finishing with 19 years as Managing Director of First Cymru Buses in Swansea. I moved to full time ministry in April 2018. My journey through faith can be traced back to my childhood and my Grandfather Albert Barnes who was a Sidesman at Brecon Cathedral. I became a Licensed Reader in the Church in Wales 10 years ago and was ordained Deacon in June 2016 and Priest in June 2017. I’m married to Heather, we met in Tunbridge Wells Kent and married in the United Reformed Church in that town. We have one daughter Rebekah. My sister lives in Cambridge and is married to Nigel Uden Moderator of the United Reformed Church.
