Stage Section length: 1.6 miles Time: 45 minutes Level of Difficulty: Easy
This section is fairly easy walking, although the ground can become very muddy, and waterproof footwear is strongly recommended. Be aware that sheep and cattle may be grazing in the fields, so care should be taken, particularly with dogs.
If you wish to avoid the wet ground or the livestock, an alternative route is to follow the road up through Oxwich village until you reach a T-junction. Take the right hand turning and follow the road to the next junction. Take the next right hand turning, which leads to Penrice Church. Please take care walking along the road.
There are public toilets, a hotel and cafes at Oxwich.
